The Fort Carson Regional Growth Plan effort was launched in 2006; Phase I was completed in June 2008; the draft of Phase II was released for public comment on April 14, 2010.

The time line for Phase II of the Growth Plan is as follows:

    • July 2008-September 2009: Phase II of the study kicks off; data are gathered and processed
       
    • October 2009-February 2010: Team determines preliminary study results; draft reports are developed
    • February-March 2010: Draft plan is reviewed, revised and updated by the PPACG team
       
    • April 14, 2010: Draft of Phase II Regional Growth Plan was made available for review.
       
    • April 14-May 14, 2010: Public review/comment period on the Phase II draft.
       
    • May-June, 2010: Final edits to Phase II of the Growth Plan.
       
    • July 2010: PPACG Board adoption of Final Phase II Regional Growth Plan and submission to OEA under grant requirements.

Phase III of the Growth Plan began in August 2010.
