SUMMARY
Transportation Advisory Committee
The City of Manitou Springs requests changes in membership on the Transportation Advisory Committee.
Manitou Springs’ TAC membership will be:
- Andrew Morren, City Engineer/Project Manager as the Primary representative.
- Juan Alvarez, Mobility and Parking Director, as the alternate.
Commission on Aging
The City of Colorado Springs has appointed Erin Maruzella as one of its representatives on the Commission on Aging. She is currently an at-large member and this appointment would replace her at-large designation. She was previously an appointment from Innovations in Aging before the organization dissolved.
BACKGROUND
The Transportation Advisory Committee provides technical advice on transportation issues, goals, plans, and programs to the PPACG Board of Directors and staff.
The Commission on Aging advises and recommends to the PPACG Board of Directors and PPACG staff action on matters regarding the development of an areawide system of advocacy and policy recommendations for older persons to enable them to maintain as much independence as possible.
PROPOSED MOTION
Confirm membership changes to the Transportation Advisory Committee and Commission on Aging.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board of Directors has the following alternatives to consider:
- Approve the item as presented.
- Disapprove the item.
- Refer the item back to member governments.
