AGENDA ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER / ESTABLISH A QUORUM / INTRODUCTIONS
Welling Clark called the meeting to order at 3:06 pm.
AGENDA ITEM 2: AGENDA APPROVAL
Sheila Williams motioned to approve the agenda; Roland Rainey seconded. The motion was approved unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM 3: CONSENT ITEMS
- Approval of the minutes from the May 29, 2024 meeting
Carey Storm motioned to approve the minutes; Maile Foster seconded. The motion was approved unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM 4: PUBLIC COMMENTS/PRESENTATIONS
None.
AGENDA ITEM 5: ACTION ITEMS
- Traffic Data Service-Will Mast, GIS Admin and Modeling Lead, gave a brief overview of the Traffic Data Service and answered questions regarding the data presented.
Maile Foster made a motion to approve the request, Carey Storm seconded. The motion was approved unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM 6: INFORMATION ITEMS
- Membership Update-Danelle Miller, Senior Transportation Planner presented a new member, Andrea Perry from the League of Women Voters, taking over for Judith Rice Jones’ role. A vacancy in El Paso County is posted. The vacancy for Palmer Lake will be appointed soon.
AGENDA ITEM 7: MEMBER ENTITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Summer Earthsong of Fountain announced the Municipal Transit received an Ozone Season Grant and will offer Zero Fares for July – August 2024.
- Sheila Williams of Park County announced the Park County Fair will be held July 12th – 20th. Fairplay will host Burro Days July 26th & 27th.
- Welling Clark of El Paso County announced the United States Navy will be hosting Navy Week, in Colorado
Springs at the WWII Museum Airport, mid-August. There be an Air Show including the Blue Angels and the Navy IG
Vice Admiral John V. Fuller will be in attendance.
AGENDA ITEM 8: MEETING SCHEDULE
Upcoming meetings will be fully remote until our air handling project is complete, except for the July 10th PPACG Board of Directors’ meeting, which will be held at Centennial Hall in Colorado Springs.
AGENDA ITEM 9: ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 3:23pm.
