- Fiscal Year 2024-25 UPWP was approved by the Board of Directors in fall 2023.
- This amendment was released for public comment on September 13.
- The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) recommended approval on October 17.
- The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) recommended approval on October 30.
SUMMARY
Federal transportation planning regulations require PPACG to develop a Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) to specify transportation planning activities that will occur within the Metropolitan Planning Area. At a minimum, the UPWP includes a description of the planning work and resulting products, who will perform the work, timeframes for completing the work, the cost of the work, and the source(s) of funds.
Per federal regulations, PPACG develops a new UPWP every two years and updates it in the year in between new UPWPs. This year, we are amending the federal fiscal year (FFY) 2024 and FFY 2025 UPWP to account for changes in work tasks and budget.
FY25 UPWP Amendment 1 was released for public comment, which ended October 13. Comments have been included in the appendix along with PPACG responses. Additionally, minor changes to increase clarity have been made to address comments from FHWA.
PROPOSED MOTION
Adopt Unified Planning Work Program Amendment 1 for Fiscal Year 2025.
