Board of Directors Workshop – Nov. 8, 2024: Pikes Area Agency on Aging Carryover Funding

DATE: November 13, 2024

TO: PPACG Board of Directors

FROM: Jody Barker, Area Agency on Aging Director

THROUGH: Andrew Gunning, PPACG Executive Director

SUBJECT: AAA Carryover Funding Allocations

ACTION REQUESTED: Review & Approve

SUMMARY

The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging anticipates receiving $385,702.39 in federal carryover funding to be allocated across needed services. As this is carryover, the funding is only available to current contracted providers, and those service lines already approved in current contracts.

This funding must be distributed among the federal parts allocated, per the carryover regulations.

Communication with current providers has been dependent on the funding part available and will be distributed accordingly.

The TRS (Technical Review Subcommittee) of the RAC (Regional Advisory Committee) is engaged in the process.

APPROVAL REQUESTED TO CONTINUE MOVING FORWARD AND ALLOCATE FUNDS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER RECEIPT OF THE OPTION LETTER
