SUBJECT: PPACG Facility Renovation

SUMMARY
The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) owns the building in which it is housed. For several months, the air handling system in the facility has been failing and staff have been working with contractors to determine the best way forward. As a result, the building will undergo major HVAC renovations beginning June 17. These are anticipated to last 12 weeks.
The renovation will mean that our main conference room is unavailable, and the building will be closed to all guests.
Staff recommends that CAC meetings be held virtually only for the months of June, July, and August. This may be revisited if there is a particularly complicated or interactive agenda.

☒ Program Excellence: Continue to excel in the key fundamental areas of PPACG: Military support, Environmental programs, Transportation, Area Agency on Aging, and regional communication, and collaboration.
