AGENDA ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER / ESTABLISH A QUORUM / INTRODUCTIONS (Four [4] voting members)
Chair Rumsey called the meeting to order at 9:00. A quorum was present.
AGENDA ITEM 2: AGENDA APPROVAL
Ms. Valerie Anders motioned to approve the agenda, Mr. Aaron Simeraro seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM 3: CONSENT ITEMS
These items will be acted upon as a whole, unless they are called up for discussion by a committee member or a citizen wishing to address the committee.
- Approval of minutes from the August 27, 2024 meeting. * Ms. Kristen Amundson motioned to approve the minutes, Ms. Valeria Anders seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM 4: PUBLIC COMMENTS/PRESENTATIONS
- Public Comments. Public comments can be made before or during the meeting. Public comment during the meeting is limited to three minutes and can be done at the meeting location or remotely by using the posted Microsoft Teams link. Individuals are encouraged to notify the meeting organizer at ppacg@ppacg.org before the start of the meeting with the agenda item they would like to comment on. Public comments can be submitted before the meeting via email to ppacg@ppacg.org for distribution to the committee members

AGENDA ITEM 8: TRAINING / INFORMATION SHARING / COORDINATION OPPORTUNITIES
- Silver Key – Has taken delivery of eight mini-busses. Three are on the road. They are also looking to begin moving residents into their new senior housing the 3rd week of October. Interested parties can call 719-884-2300.
- PPACG – Introduced the new VISTA Mobility Travel Training Program Developer, Ben Liu. He is interested in urban and transit training and understands the challenges of being a caregiver. He has done a few ride-alongs and is looking forward to his last ones. He attended the CDOT 4P meeting and shared some grant resources.
- Mountain Metro – The LRTP and Specialized Transit Plan are both in their 2nd round of edits and will go to public comment in the near future.
AGENDA ITEM 9: ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING
- Driver Appreciation will be at the December meeting. By laws and officers to be discussed at October meeting.
