COLORADO SPRINGS – The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments is accepting comments on the Fiscal Year 2025-29 Transportation Improvement Program and will host a public open house for questions and comments on Jan. 25.
The Transportation Improvement Program is a four-year plan that implements the long-range regional transportation plan’s goals and identifies the specific transportation and transit projects for which the region will allocate its federal funds. PPACG oversees the program’s development and amends it as conditions change.
The draft is available for review at ppacg.org/transportation/transportation-improvement-program. Public comments will be accepted through Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, and will be accepted through an online form.
The open house will take place from 1-2 p.m., on Jan. 25, in the PPACG main conference room at 14 S. Chestnut St. Parking is free. Individuals can also participate virtually through Microsoft Teams, using the following access information:

All comments received will be made available on the PPACG website after the public comment period ends. The comments received will be reviewed by staff and the PPACG Transportation Advisory Committee, Community Advisory Committee and Board of Directors.
